Spotlight on Safeguarding

GP and experienced Safeguarding Lead Dr Brian Liddle is responsible for promoting high standards in safeguarding practice. Leading on both safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, Brian provides advice and expertise for fellow professionals ensuring compliance with local safeguarding systems and processes.

Brian is designated GP liaison and link to Gateshead’s Local Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults Boards and is responsible for escalating any ongoing concerns to Children’s and/or Adults Social Services, where appropriate.
