Pharmicus grows from strength to strength
Pharmicus has been successfully awarded new contracts to deliver medicines optimisation across the North East region, and is now commissioned to deliver in Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside, and part of Durham, Dales, Easington & Sedgefield, and in North Durham.
In addition NHS England recently announced Phase 2 funding for clinical pharmacists in General Practice. Pharmicus has been selected as a pilot site and will be working with all practices in Gateshead and a further three practices in South Tyneside to develop this three-year programme.
